Hacker info 1: Ways to search domain information online

1. WHOIS

whois is a command-line utility used to tell you a lot of information about a domain. In order to run whois lookups from command line, you need to have whois installed in your system. To install, use the following command: 

sudo apt install whois

You can use whois command with ip address or domain name. For example, if we want to know something about google.com, type the following command: 

whois google.com
